Requirements:

• Have declared a major in Actuarial Mathematics
• Have 90 or more cumulative credits towards an undergraduate degree
• Have had at least one actuarial or related internship
• Have an overall GPA of 3.7 or better
• Have passed at least two actuarial exams given by either the Society of Actuaries or the Casualty Actuarial Society
• Be a US citizen or Permanent Resident
• Be enrolled as an out-of-state student
• Not have previously received this award

Otto C. Richter Memorial Prize

Deadline: March 11, 2024

Requirements:

• Be a graduating senior
• Be currently majoring in Actuarial Mathematics
• Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
• Have passed actuarial exams

Thomas S. Solomon Actuarial Award

Deadline: March 11, 2024

Requirements:

• Has declared a major in Actuarial Mathematics or a related field
• Has an overall GPA of 3.5 or better
• Has passed at least two actuarial exams given by either the Society of Actuaries or the Casualty Actuarial Society

Irving S. Wolfson Award

Deadline: March 11, 2024

Requirements:

• Majoring in Actuarial Mathematics
• GPA of 3.5 or above
• Have at least one term remaining for you undergraduate degree
• Have shown actuarial achievement through academia, employment, and/or extra-curricular activity

Natarajan Family Award

Deadline: March 11, 2024

Requirements:

• Majoring in Actuarial Mathematics
• GPA of 3.5 or above
• Have shown promise of future leadership
• Priority given to students on SAM Board

David G. Hartman Actuarial Scholarship

Deadline: May 5, 2024

Requirements:

• Has at least one more academic year to complete an undergraduate degree
• Has already declared Actuarial Mathematics as their major
• Is either majoring or minoring in Business Administration
• Is pursuing a career as a casualty actuary
• Has a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Has passed at least one actuarial exam
• Is a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Submits two essays

Margaret S. Huntington Prize in Actuarial Outreach

Deadline: March 11, 2024

Requirements:

• Have First-year or Sophomore standing
• Be, at most, in your second term of residence
• Have earned a grade of "A-" or better in one of the following courses: MATH 115, 116, 156, 175, or 185, OR
• Have earned a grade of "B" or better in MATH 205, 215, 217, 285, 295, or 425
• Be an undeclared Actuarial Math major
