Marc Altschull Actuarial Award

Requirements:

  • Have declared a major in Actuarial Mathematics
  • Have 90 or more cumulative credits towards an undergraduate degree
  • Have completed at least one actuarial or related internship
  • Have an overall GPA of 3.7 or better
  • Have passed at least two actuarial exams given by either the Society of Actuaries or the Casualty Actuarial Society
  • Be a US citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Be enrolled as an out-of-state student
  • Not have previously received this award

Otto C. Richter Memorial Prize

Deadline: February 28, 2025

Requirements:

  • Be a graduating senior
  • Be currently majoring in Actuarial Mathematics
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Have passed at least one actuarial exam

Thomas S. Solomon Actuarial Award

Deadline: February 28, 2025

Requirements:

  • Have declared Actuarial Math as your major
  • Have an overall GPA of 3.5 or better
  • Have passed at least two actuarial exams given by either the Society of Actuaries or the Casualty Actuarial Society

Irving S. Wolfson Award

Deadline: February 28, 2025

Requirements:

  • Majoring in Actuarial Mathematics
  • GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Have at least one term remaining for your undergraduate degree
  • Have shown actuarial achievement through academia, employment, and/or extra-curricular activity

D.W. Simpson Actuarial Award

Deadline: February 28, 2025

Requirements:

  • Entering senior year of undergraduate study in Actuarial Mathematics
  • Have GPA of 3.4 or better in Actuarial Math and overall GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Have passed at least one actuarial exam
  • Eligible to work in the United States full time for any employer without requiring employer sponsorship

Natarajan Family Award

Deadline: March 11, 2024

Requirements:

  • Majoring in Actuarial Mathematics
  • GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Have shown promise of future leadership
  • Priority given to students on SAM Board

David G. Hartman Actuarial Scholarship

Deadline: May 5, 2024

Requirements:

  • Has at least one more academic year to complete an undergraduate degree
  • Has already declared Actuarial Mathematics as their major
  • Is either majoring or minoring in Business Administration
  • Is pursuing a career as a casualty actuary
  • Has a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Has passed at least one actuarial exam
  • Is a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Submits two essays

Requirements:

  • Have freshman or sophomore standing
  • Be, at most, in your second term of residence
  • Have earned a grade of "A-" or better in one of the following courses: MATH 115, 116, 156, 175, or 185, OR
  • Have earned a grade of "B" or better in MATH 205, 215, 217, 285, 295, 424, or 425
  • Not have declared Actuarial Math as your major already

Stuart A. Robertson Memorial Scholarship

Requirements:

  • Be current college undergraduate with a minimum sophomore standing
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States (U.S.) for the entire upcoming academic year
  • Must have successfully completed at least two actuarial exams
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)

Spencer Educational Foundation Undergrad Scholarship

Deadline: Friday, January 31, 2025

Requirements:

  • Seeking a career in Risk Management, Insurance, and/or Actuarial Science
  • Enrolled at an accredited college/university for at least one full academic year (two semesters)
  • Must be physically studying in the United States or Canada
  • Preferred: Majoring/minoring in Risk Management/Insurance or a related field of study (e.g., actuarial science)
  • Preferred: Relevant work/internship experience and leadership skills

CAS Trust Scholarship
