SAM Cycle

Are you interested in business, computer science, consulting, data science, economics, mathematics, and/or statistics? Student Actuaries at Michigan is an organization for undergraduates and graduates interested in pursuing careers in the actuarial industry and other related fields.

We have built a collaborative, welcoming community of like-minded students focused on helping each other to leverage our strengths to further develop our skills and make an impact. Our resources and connections support the professional development of our members through recruiting events, networking workshops, exam support, mentorship, and more! We can't wait to see you at our next event!

Career Fair Information

Our Actuarial Career Expo will be on Thursday, September 19 from 12:00 - 3:00pm in the Michigan League (Hussey & Vandenburg). Come talk to ~30 employers!
Please note that resumes are due to the resume book by Wednesday, Sep 11 @ 11:59pm.

Paying dues is required to receive exam reimbursements, join our mentorship program, and get a SAM t-shirt! If you have not yet paid annual dues, please send $40 via Venmo to @UmichSAM or drop off a check or cash in a sealed envelope to Professor Natarajan's office at East Hall 2855. For both methods, please include your full first name, last name, uniqname, and UMID number.
